Shane Lowry gave patrons a moment to remember during his third round at The Masters as he hit a hole-in-one on the sixth.
Lowry entered Saturday at Augusta National still in contention for the green jacket, despite being seven shots behind leader Rory McIlroy.
And he made a dream start to his third round with an ace on hole six, needing just one shot on the 180-yard par-three.
Lowry left the patrons at The Masters elated with his fantastic effort, which he also celebrated wildly on the tee box.
And not only has it helped him climb the leaderboard at the major, but he has now just made history at Augusta National.
A key man for recording aces on the big stage, Lowry has just become the first player in the history of The Masters to make multiple holes-in-one.
His latest effort on hole six follows his hole-in-one on the 16th at The Masters in 2016, which he hit in round four.
A long list of players have recorded aces on the 16th, but Lowry has joined only Leland Gibson, Billy Joe Patton, Charles Coody, Chris DiMarco, Jamie Donaldson and Corey Conners in acing the sixth at Augusta.
Elsewhere at the prestigious venue, only holes four and 12 have witnessed aces in the history of The Masters.
Jeff Sluman is the only player to ace the fourth, with Claude Harmon, William Hyndman and Curtis Strange the only players to ace the 12th.
And including Lowry, 24 players have managed a hole-in-one on the 16th, including Bryson DeChambeau, Tommy Fleetwood and most recently Stewart Cink in 2022.

Itâs a truly superb historical feat from Lowry, who rightfully soaked in the praise from the patrons and his playing partner Tommy Fleetwood.
But itâs certainly not the first time that he has aced such an iconic course, with Lowry becoming a regular in doing exactly that.
The Irishman hit a hole-in-one on the famous island green 17th at The Players Championship in 2022, and did the same on the iconic seventh at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2025.
And although not as iconic as his efforts elsewhere, he impressively carded his fourth career ace on the second at the Houston Open late last month.
Of course, Lowry has another chance to add to his record at Augusta on Sunday, where he may just be pushing his close friend McIlroy for the title.
