With the end of the NCAA Tournament came the opening of the transfer portal.
The spring transfer portal window opened after midnight early Tuesday, and as of 10 a.m., there already were over 1,000 Division I men's basketball players who's names had been officially entered. The spring portal window runs through April 21.

Among the biggest names in the transfer portal or planning to enter the portal from state schools are Detroit Mercy rising junior guard TJ Nadeau (Detroit Catholic Central), Eastern Michigan rising junior forward Mohammad Habhab (Dearborn Fordson) and Western Michigan rising senior guard Jalen Griffith, plus Oakland star point guard Brody Robinson, should his lawsuit against the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility hold up.
Here's a look at men's players from state Division I universities who are in the portal or who have previously said they would be entering the portal:
