Titans could still pick a cornerback in 2026 NFL draft

When looking at remaining needs for the Tennessee Titans heading into the draft, the interior of the offensive line, edge, and playmakers on offense immediately jump out as areas the team should target, and they likely will. But a closer look would show that depth is a problem across the roster, even at positions they hit hard in free agency.

This is the case with the revamped cornerback room, where the Titans signed cornerbacks Cor'Dale Flott (New York Giants), Alontae Taylor (New Orleans Saints), and Joshua Williams (Kansas City Chiefs) in free agency, to add to Marcus Harris, Micah Robinson and Keydrain Calligan at the position on the roster, leaving no doubt that added competition is needed.

This is a fact that general manager Mike Borgonzi is keenly aware of, and he told Jim Wyatt at the NFL League Meetings that the Titans are still scouring the markets for talent at all positions.

"We are certainly not going to be done adding to that group at all, same thing with the corners, too. It will give us some flexibility in the draft.” Borgonzi responded in a question on the edge, "But if we see a corner or an edge rusher that we want, just because we went out and spent in free agency, if he is the right value on the board, if he is the best player, we are going to take him."

This will be an interesting draft when it kicks off in roughly two weeks, as the Titans can go many different ways and still land impact players, and if Borgonzi is true to his word, one that will be full of surprises with Tennessee needing to add competition and talent across the roster.
