Chandler's exact reasons for transferring are unknown.
It's likely that he is simply seeking a fresh opportunity.
He had been committed to Mark Pope at BYU, but after Chandler's two-year mission trip, Pope had moved on to Kentucky, and so Chandler followed him.
Given that it wasn't Chandler's initial commitment, maybe he simply wants to explore what else is out there again.
BYU could be an option. Chandler is from Utah, and they've shelled out plenty of NIL money of late.
Whoever gets Chandler will land a talented player who fans will quickly appreciate for his energy and leaping ability.
