Weāll give this spot to Brandon Sproat, who turned in his best performance as a Brewer by far after a rough start to the season. In a 6 2/3 inning start on Wednesday, he allowed one run on four hits and a walk, striking out six while throwing just 75 pitches. After exiting with the game tied at 1-1, the Brewers would take the lead in the bottom of the inning for a 2-1 win. Honorable mention to Brandon Woodruff, who became the first Brewer pitcher to make it through seven innings this season. He allowed one run on three hits and a walk, striking out four as he picked up the win over the Marlins on Saturday.
Brice Turang continued his great start, appearing in all six games this week and extending his on-base streak to 19 games, which, as it so happens, is every game heās played in this season. He went 7-for-23 with a homer, a double, five RBIs, five runs, and a steal, as heās now hitting .300/.437/.571 for the season. Honorable mention to William Contreras, who actually out-hit Turang (eight hits in 24 at-bats), including a double, two RBIs, and a run scored as he slashed .348/.400/.435.
