The Minnesota Twins are in the middle of another bad season this year after their hot 11-7 start to the season. They've struggled a bit since then and are now 13-18 on the season.
Minnesota selling off some players at the trade deadline this year looks to be very much in the cards once again. While it might not be as bad as the fire sale last year, a ton of players could be on the move.
Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report predicted that there would be three players who would "absolutely" be on the Twins' trade block this year. All three make a ton of sense to trade, and would be nice targets for contenders this year.
"C Ryan Jeffers ($6.7M, Free agent this winter)," Miller writes. Jeffers might be the most obvious trade candidate on the Twins roster.
There was already some buzz over the offseason about a Jeffers trade, and with an .884 OPS to begin the season, there would surely be teams lining up to acquire him from the Twins.

"1B/DH Josh Bell ($5.75M, $10M mutual option)," Miller writes. Bell is another player who would make a lot of sense in a trade at this year's deadline.
Bell has three homers so far through 30 games with a .224 average and .672 OPS. There might be better first basemen available for trade, like Christian Walker from the Houston Astros, but Bell is a cheap option who could make sense for a contender.
"LHP Taylor Rogers ($2M, Free agent this winter)," Miller writes. Rogers is a left-handed pitcher reliever, those types always find some value in the trade market.
While his 6.10 ERA this season leaves a bit to be desired, some team with a lack of lefty bullpen options, like the Arizona Diamondbacks, could ship off a small package for Rogers, and get a decent rental who had a 3.38 ERA last year.

Ryan Jeffers, Josh Bell, and Taylor Rogers are "absolutely" going to be on the trade block this year for the Twins.
All would make sense to ship off this year, and there will likely be a team or two to show interest in all three, with Rogers and Jeffers the more likely players to draw interest.
There will be plenty of focus on Byron Buxton, Joe Ryan, and others like Victor Caratini and Royce Lewis, but the Twins are much more likely to move Rogers, Bell, and Jeffers by the 2026 MLB trade deadline.
Three players from the Minnesota Twins have been identified as likely candidates for trade, although their names are not specified in the excerpt.
The Minnesota Twins currently have a record of 13-18 this season.
The Twins are considering trades due to their poor performance this season, following a promising start.
While this season may not be as severe as last year's fire sale, the Twins are still looking to sell off players at the trade deadline.
