Neville: Arsenal will need wheelbarrow to get over line in PL title race
Neville says Arsenal will need a wheelbarrow to win the PL title after edging past Newcastle.
The Detroit Lions added another skill weapon, selecting Kentucky wide receiver Kendrick Law in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft at pick No. 168 overall.
A 5-foot-11, 203-pound receiver, what should Lions fans know about their newest weapon?
Here's five things to know about Kendrick Law:
Kendrick Law led Kentucky in both catches (53) and receiving yards (540) in 2025. Law's three touchdown grabs in 2025 ranked second on the Wildcats.
In his college career, Law caught 86 passes for 883 yards and four touchdowns.
Law began his college career at Alabama, signing with the Crimson Tide as a four-star signee in the 2022 class, per 247Sports. The Shreveport, La., native caught 33 passes for 343 yards with one score.
The Lions are looking for a Kalif Raymond replacement in the special teams department. Law could help out there.
During his collegiate career, Law returned 32 kickoffs for 710 yards (22.9 average). Law's 23.8 yards per kickoff return average ranked fourth in the SEC last year.
This is an exciting statistic: 93.5% of Kendrick Law's receiving yards in 2025 came via yards after catch (505 YAC yards). That means that Law almost always does something after he catches the football.
In Dane Brugler's "The Beast," Brugler shares that Kendrick Law's favorite player as a kid growing up was former Baylor and NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III. That's probably not altogether uncommon for players that are 21 years old like Law is.
When Law was growing up, RG3 won the Heisman Trophy and was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2012 with Washington.
Per Brugler, Law would practice with his dad's team at Booker T. Washington while he was still in middle school. His dad, Kendrick Sr., played running back in college at Southern Arkansas.
