“500” Chelsea fan protest “felt bigger both in its numbers and its significance”
Apparently there was around 500 Chelsea fans who attended the protest march yesterday before the Manchester United game.
This was a number plucked out by the Met Police apparently, although there are some major question marks over that from people who were actually there, saying it felt much more than that.

Strasbourg fans joined in with the march as well, flying over from France to protest against the joint owners of both clubs, BlueCo.
The message was clear, they want these owners gone and there is no way back for them amongst the majority of the fan base, and the protestors were there in very strong and significant numbers. This should hit BlueCo square in the face.
The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill was at the protest, and he wrote:
The protest was organized by Chelsea fans, but specific grievances were not detailed in the provided text.
The Met Police reported around 500 attendees, though many present felt the number was significantly higher.
Attendees felt the protest was significant, both in terms of turnout and its implications for the club.
