Oklahoma linebacker Owen Heinecke granted an extra year of eligibility for 2026 after court ruling.
The Los Angeles Rams revealed updated uniforms for the 2026 season, making subtle yet positive changes. Key updates include the removal of gradient numbers and pant stripes, and the addition of white pants for more combination options.
Six years after undergoing a complete brand refresh, the Los Angeles Rams unveiled updated uniforms ahead of the 2026 season. It's not a full overhaul like some other teams underwent this offseason, but the Rams made some positive changes to their current uniforms – while also doing away with the Bone set and teasing two new alternates coming this summer.
Though some fans might struggle to see what's new with these updated uniforms, the subtle adjustments make a big difference. Gone are the gradient numbers and pant stripes, along with the half-horn on the sleeves and the odd chest tag on the front of the jerseys.
Oh, and the Rams added white pants to their wardrobe, which gives them more combinations with both their blue and white jerseys.
Here are some of the key changes Los Angeles made in this brand refresh.

The most noticeable change made to the blue jerseys was the removal of the gradient numbers. The Rams now have solid yellow numbers, much like their old uniforms that were so beloved among fans. It makes the uniforms look simpler and cleaner, getting rid of a common complaint over the last six years.
The Rams removed gradient numbers and pant stripes, eliminated the half-horn on sleeves, and added white pants for more uniform combinations.
The updates aim to enhance the team's branding while maintaining the essence of their current uniforms, moving away from elements that fans found less appealing.
The Rams teased two new alternate uniforms that will be revealed this summer, although specific details about them have not yet been disclosed.

The Rams' previous royal jerseys had a tag on the front left of the chest, which read "Rams" – almost like a nametag. It was unnecessary and muddied up the jersey, but that has since been removed. The white jerseys also had the same tag, but it's been removed from those jerseys, too.

The horn is back! Prior to this update, the horn on the sleeves was a half-crescent, not resembling the iconic ram horn at all. The Rams added the curl to the end of the horn, a slight change that makes a big difference. It now resembles the helmet curl more closely, too.

The Rams were always forced to pair their white jerseys with either blue or yellow pants. Now, with the introduction of white pants, they can go with a full monochrome look. The white pants feature blue and yellow stripes to match the blue and yellow sleeves.
Although the helmet remains just about unchanged, that's not a bad thing. There was nothing wrong with the current helmets, aside from maybe the horn that fans believe doesn't curl enough. In this update, the Rams added a 3D wordmark to the front of the helmet, replacing the old wordmark.

Since Los Angeles updated its LA logo to be one color, the Rams added it to the back tag. There's no more gradient so it's a simplistic logo that complements the other yellow elements on the jersey.
