We are now a week into May, and there is still no decision on what Rodgers' plans are, at least publicly, and for me, that's baffling.
I understand the gravity of the decision Aaron is facing, but surely by now you know what you want to do, right? The Steelers can't wait forever, yet they appear content to play the wait-and-see approach with a player who, if we are being honest, his best days are behind him

My guess is as long as they need to, because if they haven't really addressed the quarterback position in the manner you would expect a team without a starter would, then maybe they know internally of Rodgers' intentions.
But from the outside, it does feel a little silly to be waiting so long for a player who is a one-year rental and won't have a big say in the long-term success of the franchise.
Still, Pittsburgh knows better than me, and playing the waiting game with Rodgers is clearly the avenue they are going down.
Is that the right thing to do? Time will tell.
