Agent Of Turkey Megastar Dismisses Galatasaray Links: “He Is Very Happy At Inter Milan”

Gordon Stipic has dismissed persistent rumors linking Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu with a move to Galatasaray.

During his recent interview, Calhanoglu’s agent confirmed that his client is ‘very happy’ at San Siro, as reported by FCInterNews.

Hakan Calhanoglu first emerged as a concrete target for the reigning Turkish Super Lig champions last season.

Furthermore, the Rams Park giants had held talks with Stipic over the 32-year-old’s potential transfer to Istanbul.

However, Cristian Chivu has convinced the former AC Milan star to turn down Galatasaray’s approach.

Furthermore, Calhanoglu has patched things up with Lautaro Martinez, re-establishing himself as one of Inter’s key players this season.

With nine goals and four assists in 21 Serie A games, he is the club’s third-best goalscorer in the league.

Indeed, only Lautaro (16) and Marcus Thuram (10) have netted more league goals than the Turkish playmaker.

Therefore, it’s no wonder that Inter are looking to offer Calhanoglu a new contract at the end of the season.

“Hakan Calhanoglu has a contract with Inter until 2027 and is very happy both in Italy and at Inter. Speculation about a possible move to Galatasaray has surfaced several times in the past and is now being repeated again.

“The facts, however, are clear: there have been no negotiations with Galatasaray, neither last summer nor in January. At no point has there been any concrete request or enquiry.

“Hakan remains fully focused on what truly matters at this stage: Inter, the Scudetto race, and achieving success together with the team.
