Alabama softball may not have ended the SEC Tournament the way it had hoped, but the Crimson Tide has certainly made a statement to be a top seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Crimson Tide (49-7) ended its tournament run with a 7-1 loss to Texas. Beforehand, Alabama earned a 9-1 run-rule win over Florida (48-10) in the semifinals and a 7-1 win over Arkansas (42-11) in the quarterfinals.
Now, the Crimson Tide looks to host its first regional of the NCAA Softball Tournament.
