Alexandra Ealaâs clay season has been a bit uneven, with several early exits as she prepares for Roland Garros.
Itâs important to point out that most of her losses have come against top-ranked players, including her recent defeat to Elena Rybakina in Rome.
Eala clearly has a lot of talent, but sheâs still working her way up to the sportâs highest level.
Still, sheâll be hoping for a strong showing at the French Open and has entered one last warm-up event before the second Grand Slam of the year gets underway.

Alexandra Eala is looking to get more match time on clay, and sheâs willing to do it through qualifying if necessary.
She knows that route can still offer valuable experience, especially as she continues to build her profile on the WTA Tour.
Eala is currently three spots short of a direct entry into the main draw, just behind Peyton Stearns and KateĆina SiniakovĂĄ in the rankings.
With the WTA-500 event in Strasbourg coming up soon, it looks like the 20-year-old will need to play her way in through qualifying.
The main draw already features some notable names, including Hailey Baptiste, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Leylah Fernandez, Madison Keys and Iva Jovic. Emma Raducanu has also received a wildcard entry.
Eala has officially ruled herself out of the Parma Ladies Open after choosing to play qualifying in Strasbourg instead. The decision locks in her full pre-French Open schedule.

This will be her fifth clay-court event ahead of Roland Garros. She started in Linz, where she picked up an opening-round win before falling to Jelena Ostapenko.
Stuttgart saw her exit early again while Madrid brought another second-round departure. Rome was more productive though as she made it through two rounds before losing a tight contest against Rybakina.
