Berks Catholicâs Kingston McKoy capped a fabulous high school basketball career on Thursday by being named the Class 4A player of the year in Pennsylvania.
McKoy, who averaged 22.3 points per game this season, finished his career with 1,679 points.
The 6-3 senior guard, who is committed to Colgate, was also the BCIAA player of the year.
The Saints won the county title with a 62-57 win over Reading High and then repeated as the District 3 Class 4A champion by beating Bishop McDevitt in overtime.
Berks Catholic finished the season 25-3 after losing to Carver E&S 40-35 in the first round of the PIAA tournament.
