Maybe it’s the storm before the calm or the storm that needs to be calmed. I think every issue we’ve had with our club has peaked, because our oga at the top has come out and blasted things wide open. It doesn’t get higher than the club president.

THE GREAT SHIFT

In a season where we’ve seen The Great Tantrum of 2025, followed by The Great Debacle of 2026, where we were knocked out of every cup comp in shambolic fashion, with a side quest of Mbappe’s injury vacation and you’d think that’s all right? then comes Captain Real Madrid: Civil War, a season of failed captain-ship in the club (from carvjal, to fede to vini) that ends in a fist fight between the captain of the conFEDEration and the Prime DM of France. where two of our players start fighting each other since there’s nothing left to fight for.

Now comes hopefully the last big thing of this failed season, The Great Shift by Don Florention Perez. Where he storms the press by calling out a woman’s knowledge on football, sounding the press themselves for lies on his health, raising election awareness by calling for it to be early, calling out his enemies to the forefront etc. All things that will gather more media attention than the mess our players generate themselves into.

All of this, a major bid/move/play to draw attention away from the players in the media and all to himself. Like Pain in Naruto using the “Almighty Push” to destroy the Hidden-leaf village and potentially, it’s history. Our president has therefore initiated an almighty “Attention Shift” to destroy the focus of people from looking at our players drama and the club with much scrutiny, to just looking at himself and the presidency and even the unseen future of real madrid. Those are things he’d rather have you focus on.

We’re going to be talking about his Machismo and other things related solely to him and the presidency and elections, far more than what our drama-laden players are doing. In a way, it’s kinda needed in this scenario because things like in-fighting and moles don’t just die down naturally. It’s life span has to be cut short with a public attention shift.
