Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller has addressed Luke Littlerās recent public push, urging him to join Manchester United in the summer.
United are set to prioritise midfield reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window, with Casemiro set to depart and uncertainty surrounding the future of Manuel Ugarte. In January, Casemiro announced he will depart United at the end of the season, once his contract expires. Meanwhile, Ugarte has struggled to have an impact since his move from Paris Saint-Germain and his days at Old Trafford appear numbered.
United continue to be linked with a host of midfield targets, including Stiller. The Stuttgart star has impressed in the Bundesliga with his calm and composed performances. He has been mentioned to be on Unitedās radar several times over the past windows, but a move has never materialised.
A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Stuttgart value Stiller at ā¬60-65m. United chiefs Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell are believed to be admirers of the player.
Last month, Littler publicly urged Stiller to join United while competing against Stephen Bunting in Night 8 of the Premier League Darts in Berlin.
Littler, a big United fan, was asked who his favourite German footballer is. He quickly named Stiller and said, āIāll say Angelo Stiller. Come to United! Please come. We need help. Casemiro is leaving us.ā
Now, Stiller has responded to this request.

Speaking to the Bundesliga, Stiller said about Littler and his public push, āThat is great.ā
āBecause he is also my favourite darts player. He is currently the best in the world, and when he says something like that, it is always nice.ā
āI have been to Ally Pally (a sports venue in north London). I really like darts, so it is great to hear something like that.ā
Stiller acknowledged that all the ongoing rumours about him might get a little tiresome.
āItās part of the business that rumours arise, and things are said. You should not deal with it too much, and just do your own thing.ā
āWhen you are more in focus, more things can hit you and affect you. At the beginning of my career, it affected me more. Now I have learned that it should not really matter to me.ā
The 25-year-old added, āWhat is important is what the club thinks, what the coach thinks, and what my teammates think. That is the only thing that matters to me now. Because of social media, Instagram, Twitter, and everything else, everyone can form an opinion and say what they think.ā
āEveryone can act like an internet warrior, but you should not listen to that. It does not affect me personally.ā
United return to Premier League action on Saturday when they go away to Chelsea.
