HORTONVILLE - The Polar Bears scored three runs in the third inning and never trailed in their Fox Valley Association win over the Cardinals.
Xavier Enriquez had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Hortonville. Tristan Berrens and Derek Baumbach each added two hits.
Elijah Yeager pitched the first four innings and got the win for Hortonville. He allowed two runs and four hits, walked three and struck out three.
Berrens pitched the final three innings for Hortonville, which is 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the FVA.
KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts, who led 2-0 after one inning, broke open the game with seven runs in the second inning and went on to defeat the Terrors.
Quintynn Grych started and took the loss for Appleton West.
WINNECONNE - The Wolves scored two runs in their half of the seventh inning to defeat the Hawks.
Noah Bouras had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs to lead Winneconne. Dallas Walker also had two hits.
Bouras pitched the last three innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit and two walks to get the win.
DENMARK - The Comets scored three times in the first inning in their win over the Vikings.
Ozzie Enz had three of Denmark’s six hits.
David Dittmer pitched a complete game for Denmark. He allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out seven.

APPLETON - The Foxes dominated the Hawks from the start, scoring two runs in the first, two in the second, one in the third, four in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Claire Pfrang powered FVL, collecting three hits in four at-bats.
Madison Babcock earned the win for the Foxes. The starter gave up zero hits over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Brianna Dahlke pitched three innings in relief. She surrendered two hits, while striking out two and walking none.
Samia Guerrero and Kalia Stammer had singles to lead Xavier.
Morgan Staszak took the loss for the Hawks. She went four innings, surrendering nine runs (five earned) on eight hits, striking out none and walking two.
KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts fell behind 3-0 in the top of the first before answering with 12 runs in the bottom of the first, three in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth to earn the Fox Valley Association win.
Ali Raddatz homered and drove in three runs to pace Appleton West.
OCONTO FALLS - The Panthers broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the third and three in the fourth to earn the North Eastern Conference victory.
The Mustangs closed out the scoring with a run in the seventh.
Katelyn Kurek had the hot bat for Oconto Falls, going 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs. Also leading the Panthers were Emma Laughrin and Izzy Otto, both with two hits and an RBI apiece.
Kurek also picked up the win in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing five hits, two runs (one earned) with five walks and five strikeouts.
WAUPACA - Addi Purkis was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to help power the Comets past the Truckers.
Adding two hits each for Waupaca were Hailey Bechard and A.J. Koran. One of Bechard’s hits was a triple, while Savannah Folstad added a triple.
Claire Papendorf was 2-for-3 with a double, while Payton Johnson drove in three runs to power Clintonville.
The Comets led 2-1 after one, 3-1 after three and 4-3 after five. After the Truckers tied the score at 4-4 in the sixth, Waupaca answered with the winning run in the bottom half of the frame.
OCONTO FALLS - The Tigers scored early and often en route to the North Eastern Conference win.
Wrightstown scored five times in the first, six in the second, two in the third and three in the fifth.
Leading the Tigers were Charlie Bowker and Molly Ruebl, both with three hits, and Sophia Garcia with two.
Morgan McKewin homered and drove in four runs. Ruebl added a double and three RBIs.
Sophia Garcia earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out four.
MANITOWOC - Lauren Roehrig allowed one hit, one unearned run and one walk while striking out six as the Tigers crushed the Jets in Eastern Wisconsin Conference action.
Roehrig was also solid at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run and two RBIs.
Eliana Bates and Reegan Woodard added two hits each for Chilton.
Josie Nett added a double for the Tigers.
AMHERST - The Falcons scored four times in the fifth and it proved to be the difference as Amherst held off the Wolves.
Manawa scored one in the second and two in the seventh.
Sascha Gollon led the Falcons with two hits, while Sam Nooyen picked up the win, pitching seven innings, allowing eight hits, three earned runs and one walk while striking out 11.
Pacing the Wolves were Alayna Seeger, Alyssa Zemple and Callie Pethke with two hits each. Pethke also had a double.
Olivia Zielke took the loss, pitching six innings, allowing five hits, four runs (none earned) and one walk with seven strikeouts.
ELKHART LAKE - The Wolves built a 6-2 lead in the nightcap before outlasting the Resorters in eight innings to earn a split of a doubleheader in Big East Conference action.
In the opener, the Resorters used an 11-run fifth inning to erase an early deficit and earn the Big East Conference win.
Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah led 2-0 after one, but the Wolves scored four in the third and led 6-3 after four.
Trailing 14-6 after five, Hilbert scored two in the sixth, but the Resorters held on from there.
Alyssa Lukich had the hot bat for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah with four hits, including a double, while Delaney Maranell was 3-for-5 with a triple, home run and five RBIs.
In the nightcap, Hilbert led 1-0 after one, 4-2 after four and 6-2 after five before the Resorters scored four times in the seventh to send the game into extra innings. Hilbert opened the eighth inning with a pair of runs before Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah answered with one before falling short.

WRIGHTSTOWN - Danica Bartolazzi and Carmella Johnson both scored twice in the Tigers’ win over the Truckers.
