Aqib Talib hints Broncos could make big move on draft day

The Denver Broncos may not be done yet with big moves, says star cornerback Aqib Talib. During an episode of The Arena: Gridiron with Kinsey Wolanski, Skip Bayless and former safety T.J. Ward last week, Talib predicted another big move could be coming.

"Kinsey, I keep waiting for the bombshell to drop because the guy sitting across me (Talib) over here keeps saying Denver's gonna make another big move," Bayless said.

"It might be the draft," responded Talib. "Come on, Skip, come on. You don't believe, still don't believe me?... It might be on draft day."

Talib has a fair point about believing him. While Denver was re-signing their own players at the start of free agency, Talib was adamant Denver would make a move for a pass catcher. One day before the Broncos traded for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle last month, Talib predicted a "new explosion player on offense" was on the way.

Now, with the draft just nine days away, Talib has an inkling Denver is just getting started. One of the biggest draft day trades Denver has made in the past few years was for defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers from the New York Jets. Franklin-Myers became a tremendous force on the line, and helped the Broncos to back-to-back playoff appearances before signing with the Tennessee Titans during free agency last month.

Could this be a harbinger of things to come? Talib sure seems to think so.
