Ahead of the Champions League second leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday, the Bayern Munich legend was asked to give his thoughts on who will advance. While it may seem biased for Arjen Robben to make a decision here, he spent time with both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid over his illustrious career.
âBayern! Because theyâre solid and everything is working perfectly at the moment. Theyâre a well-oiled machine, and I believe theyâll keep going right to the end. But itâs still football, so there could always be a situation where a red card is shown or something like that. You obviously have to be careful about that. You have to be on your toes for the full 95 minutes. If Bayern can manage that, then as far as Iâm concerned thereâs only one team that will win, and itâs them,â Arjen Robben said as captured via @iMiaSanMia.
Very confident words from the Dutchman. While Bayern Munich fans are confident ahead of the second leg in Allianz Arena, most wouldnât go as far to say that there is only one team can win. Real Madrid will be hungry and have been known to turn around situations like this on many occasions.
That being said, is there a better team in the world right now than Bayern? I donât think so.
Arjen Robben expressed confidence that Bayern Munich will advance, praising their solid performance and teamwork.
Robben's experience with both clubs gives him a unique perspective, leading him to favor Bayern due to their current form and cohesion.
Robben mentioned that unexpected events, like a red card, could impact the match, emphasizing the need for Bayern to stay alert throughout the game.
