Houston is off to a poor start to this season and could become a seller at the trade deadline if things don't start going its way. FanSided's Christopher Kline wrote on Wednesday that trading Yordan Alvarez is not out of the question due to a bad farm system and an older roster.
"Houston has a weak farm system, a clunky payroll, and an older roster that appears to be declining in real time," Kline wrote. "Trading Álvarez would almost guarantee a spot near the bottom of the AL West standings, but with GM Dana Brown and head coach Joe Espada both on the hot seat, it's time for Houston to consider its future. The page may be turning on this current roster and this current era."
