
Judge grants Oklahoma LB Heinecke extra year
Oklahoma linebacker Owen Heinecke granted an extra year of eligibility for 2026 after court ruling.
Three-star tight end Trae Proctor has flipped his commitment from Auburn to Kentucky, leaving Auburn with only one commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Proctor had been committed to Auburn since January 2026 before visiting Kentucky and deciding to join the Wildcats.
Auburn is down to one commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle after three-star tight end commit Trae Proctor flipped to the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, according to Tom Loy of 247Sports.
Proctor had been committed to the Tigers since Jan. 19, 2026, when he became the first commitment for Auburn head coach Alex Golesh in the 2027 cycle. The Plantation, Florida product visited Kentucky on Wednesday before flipping to the Wildcats. The Tigers have been recruiting him since May 13, 2025, when the previous coaching staff offered him a scholarship with Golesh's staff ultimately landing him shortly after coming to the Plains.
He is ranked as the No. 761 overall player and No. 41 tight end in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4.5, 213-pounder is also the No. 73 player from Florida.
Four-star defensive lineman Donivan Moore is now Auburn's only commitment. The Bessemer, Alabama, native is the No. 134 overall player in the 247Sports composite. The class is now ranked 73rd in the country by 247Sports and last in the SEC, where they are the only program to have just one commitment.
