It’s officially a family affair in Atlanta, with the Falcons selecting cornerback Aveion Terrell out of Clemson, the brother of Falcons cornerback AJ Terrell, with the 48th overall pick in the second round of the draft. Here’s everything you need to know.

Terrell is the younger brother of Falcons cornerback AJ Terrell and it’s easy to see that he’s picked up a thing or two from his sibling. Terrell is an extremely fluid athlete with an impressive understanding of how to play the position. His fundamentals are rock solid and you won’t often catch him slipping in his assignments. He loves to be the aggressor and playing press man is exactly how he likes to inflict his will on his opponent. Terrell’s lack of size is a detriment in contested catch situations but his feisty play style will keep him in a place to be a thorn in the side of wideouts on all three levels of the field.
