Seeded seventh, UW (32-8) will now face third-seeded UCLA at 6:30 p.m. CT May 8 in College Park, Maryland. If UW can win two more games, it'll get an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Oregon (40-12) served up four Badgers home runs, including one to Arrowhead High School alumna Jaclyn Showalter, who became the third in program history to hit two or more home runs in the Big Ten Tournament.
Showalter broke the program record for most home runs by a freshman, hitting her 13th of the year and breaking a mark set by Chloe Miller in 2014.
Kaylie Whidden homered among her three hits, Hilary Blomberg (Verona High School) hit her 15th homer of the year (tied with Kayla Konwent in 2019 for most in a single season) and Emily Bojan hit her seventh.
Top-seeded Nebraska and fourth-seeded Indiana will meet in the other semifinal May 8, with the winners meeting at 3 p.m. May 9. All remaining games in the tournament will air on Big Ten Network and on Fubo.
To even reach Oregon, Wisconsin needed a late four-run rally to stun Purdue on May 6 in the opening round.
Showalter's game-tying three-run homer in the sixth inning turned a shutout into a brand new ballgame, and then Conger's RBI single to the wall in he seventh gave the Badgers a walk-off win.
Wisconsin softball achieved an 11-9 victory over Oregon, despite having a 0-10 record against them historically.
Wisconsin will face third-seeded UCLA on May 8 at 6:30 p.m. CT in College Park, Maryland.
Wisconsin needs to win two more games in the Big Ten Tournament to secure an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
