May 4 (UPI) -- The Baltimore Ravens agreed to sign quarterback Skylar Thompson to a one-year contract, a source familiar with the deal told UPI on Monday.
Thompson, 28, entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft. He threw for 721 yards, a score and three interceptions through the first 10 appearances of his career.
The Dolphins waived Thompson in 2024, but later signed him to their practice squad. He signed a futures contract last off-season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but spent almost the entire campaign on injured reserve.
He will enter a Ravens quarterbacks room that includes starter Lamar Jakson and backups Tyler Huntley, Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano.
The Ravens held rookie minicamp Friday and Saturday. They will start organized team activities May 18. Ravens mandatory minicamp will be June 9 and 10.
