As such, the Portuguese defender has now entered an exclusive category in world football after becoming the only player to win five of Europe’s major domestic league titles.
The 31-year-old defender continues to build one of the most decorated careers of his generation, and Barcelona’s latest league triumph has now added another major trophy to an already extraordinary collection.
With Barcelona lifting the La Liga trophy, Cancelo completed an incredible set of league titles across Europe.
The defender previously won three Premier League titles with Manchester City during the 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.
Before that, he also lifted the Serie A title with Juventus in the 2018-19 campaign.
Cancelo later added the Bundesliga to his collection after joining Bayern Munich on loan during the second half of the 2022-23 season.

Meanwhile, the latest league success means Cancelo has now won 15 trophies at club level throughout his career.
That total becomes even more impressive when adding the UEFA Nations League title he won with the Portugal national football team in 2019.
Despite the celebrations surrounding Barcelona’s title-winning campaign, Cancelo’s future at the club remains unresolved.
The defender is currently still under contract with Al Hilal and according to reports, the Saudi team is demanding around €15 million to allow him to leave permanently, a figure Barcelona currently consider too high.
The Catalan club is still interested in keeping the Portuguese defender next season, but discussions are expected to focus either on reducing the transfer fee or negotiating another loan agreement.
