Bayern Munich is set to sell up to eight players this summer, including Kim Min-Jae and Hiroki Ito. Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly competing for a midfielder.
It might be a buys summer inside the walls of Säbener Straße this summer as Bayern Munich could be looking to sell of as many as eight players — Kim in-jae, Hiroki Itō, João Palhinha (on loan with Tottenham), Alexander Nübel (on loan with VfB Stuttgart), Arijon Ibrahimović (on loan with Heidenheim), (on loan with Galatasaray), (on loan with Southampton), (on loan with ):
Bayern Munich is considering selling Kim Min-Jae, Hiroki Ito, Joao Palhinha, Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimović, Sacha Boey, Daniel Peretz, and Bryan Zaragoza.
Joao Palhinha is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, and his loan deal includes a purchase option that may be activated.
Kim Min-Jae has been identified as a candidate for sale despite expressing happiness in his role, primarily due to his high salary and performance concerns.
Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly battling for Jack Grealish, who is looking for a permanent exit from Manchester City.

Seven players have been placed on Bayern Munich’s transfer list ahead of the summer window, according to Sport Bild.
Six of them are currently out on loan: Joao Palhinha at Tottenham Hotspur, Bryan Zaragoza at AS Roma, Sacha Boey at Galatasaray, Daniel Peretz at Southampton FC, Arijon Ibrahimović at 1. FC Heidenheim and Alexander Nübel at VfB Stuttgart.
Four of those loan deals include purchase options, and at present it appears likely that only two will be activated, for Boey and Peretz.
In addition, Bayern are said to be ready to offload Min-jae Kim. Although the South Korea international recently said he is happy in his role as a substitute, he has long been seen as a candidate for sale.
According to Sky Germany, Hiroki Ito could also be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives. For many of these moves, there will not necessarily be a direct replacement required, but for Kim and Itō are key role players on the squad (as we will likely see this weekend). There are also complications with selling some of these players as they might not want to leave — with Kim being the chief example. The South Korean’s massive salary is not likely going to be something any other club will want to pick up given his performances.
Jack Grealish does not want to go back to Manchester City:
Jack Grealish has no intention of returning to Manchester City if Pep Guardiola stays beyond the end of the season, the Daily Mirror. Grealish has no future under the head coach, who signed him for £100 million from Aston Villa in 2021. Grealish’s deal at the Etihad Stadium has one year remaining, and while he is looking for a permanent exit, City would seek a transfer fee of £50 million for him. Failing a permanent exit, the 30-year-old would be open to a loan move before leaving as a free agent next summer. Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany is rumored to have an affinity for Grealish, but that kind of move seems unlikely at this stage — especially if the Bavarians aim to procure Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.
Bayern Munich stars Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise were named to WhoScored’s Champions League team of the Round: Upamecano definitely had some moments of individual brilliance, but it seems tough to have anyone from Bayern Munich’s backline on this squad.
It seems doubtful that Atlético Madrid would entertain a sale of Julián Álvarez, but if it does, there will be a massive fee attached to him:
Atlético Madrid are willing to turn down bids of £130 million for striker Julián Álvarez, reports Sky Sports. The Spanish club are resolute in their willingness to keep Álvarez, who is subject to interest from Arsenal, Barcelona and PSG, and even an offer of that magnitude would not tempt the club to accept. Álvarez has scored 19 goals across all competitions for, including an impressive nine-goal haul in the Champions League.
Schalke 04 would like to extend its contract with goalkeeper Loris Karius:
🚨🆕 Schalke 04 want to extend Loris Karius’ contract, currently running until 2027, by one or two years. Initial talks have taken place. #S04
An extension is possible with adjusted terms. Karius has been one of the key factors behind the club’s expected promotion to the Bundesliga. A stay in the summer is very likely, but he already has three concrete enquiries from Italy. @SkySportDE
Chelsea and Manchester City could be lining up offers for Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Cat:
Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Cat, per TEAMtalk. The 17-year-old has been scouted by both clubs in recent weeks and it is said that they have been impressed by his performances. De Cat will enter the final year of his contract in the summer, with his representatives said to be informing clubs in Europe of his situation. Bayern Munich have also been linked with interest in his signature. De Cat was linked to Bayern Munich, but it seems as if that interest has waned. *If you are looking for more Bayern Munich and German national team coverage, check out the latest episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, which you can get on Acast, Spotify, Apple, or any leading podcast distributor…*
