Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in signing Arsenal's Kai Havertz as a potential replacement for Nicolas Jackson. Meanwhile, Benjamin Šeško supports interim coach Michael Carrick at Manchester United.
Every so often we see a rumor emerge that Bayern Munich would like to kick the tires on Arsenal star and Germany international Kai Havertz. And guess what…now that time is here again:
Journalist James Benge has claimed that Bayern Munich may replace Nicolas Jackson with another former Chelsea player in the form of Arsenal’s Kai Havertz (Extra Time podcast).
“Yeah, my understanding on Havertz and Bayern is that there is interest there. Nothing more than that that I’ve heard at the moment, but that is one to monitor in the summer.
“Because of course, Nicholas Jackson is going, so he might figure as a depth piece at buy-in, like someone that can cover a bit for and a bit for . But like you say, it would all be about the deal on offer and who are Arsenal flipping him into, because if you lose Havertz and Jesus, that’s two forwards you need to replace them with, and then you’re probably looking at losing and or as well.
Yes, Bayern Munich is reportedly considering a move for Kai Havertz, especially as they look for a replacement for Nicolas Jackson.
Losing Havertz could require Arsenal to replace multiple forwards, including Gabriel Jesus, which may disrupt their attacking lineup.
Benjamin Šeško praised Michael Carrick as an amazing coach and expressed his desire for the club to retain him in the managerial position.

“And you don’t want to come into this season having churned your whole front line as much as emotionally as fans you want that. You don’t want to be starting from scratch all over again.” It seems ludicrous that Bayern Munich would seek to make a move like this. Sure, Havertz is versatile and a known commodity to the Bavarians, but the focus seems to be on Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon rather than Havertz — and we do not expect that to change.

There were rumors that Liam Delap could be looking to leave Chelsea after the season, but those whispers could have been premature:

At the moment, however, there are no talks with Garcia. Nothing advanced. 🇪🇸
Former RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško has started to find his stride at Manchester United and would like to see the club move forward with interim head coach Michael Carrick. “He’s an amazing coach, I’ve said this many times,” Šeško, who scored United’s second against Brentford, said after the win. “He’s brought different energy. Also the way we’re doing in the training, it’s unbelievable and of course, I would like to have him here.” Šeško has 11 goals and one assist in 31 games across all competitions this season. *If you are looking for more Bayern Munich and German national team coverage, check out the latest episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, which you can get on Acast, Spotify, Apple, or any leading podcast distributor…*
