Bayern Munich okay with Konrad Laimer leaving on free transfer

Konrad Laimer is highly appreciated at FC Bayern, but the club would only extend his contract without a significant pay rise. Bayern would have no problem seeing him run down his contract and leave on a free if necessary. The prevailing opinion at the club is that Laimer would first have to find a club of equal sporting stature and that would agree to meet his financial demands. This news seems to coincide with a time where Laimer, who is a very good player, could start to see a lesser role at the club anyway. Bayern Munich seems to be poised to look for players in the central midfield and at right-back during the summer transfer window.
