This past weekend, the Boston College women’s lacrosse team traveled over to Stony Brook, NY to participate in the 2026 NCAA tournament, seeking their ninth-straight Final Four appearance. BC got off to a promising start to the weekend on Friday when they completely shut down the Yale offense on the way to a 10-4 victory. Then the Eagles stepped up, like they so often do in the postseason. BC scored four unanswered goals in five possessions, two of which came on free position shots and another two came from Colbert in the open field. The turnovers had dissipated and BC was able to stop the bleeding, getting themselves back into a 2-goal game as the 4th quarter began.
