UCF's Malachi Lawrence selected by Dallas Cowboys in NFL draft!

Beekmantown defeated Saranac 7-6 in a dramatic walk-off victory. The Eagles rallied in the final inning with key hits to secure the win.
BEEKMANTOWN — It was a pitcher’s due the first four innings, then the bats woke up.
Beekmantown needed all it could get to walk off Saranac, winning 7-6.
After falling behind 4-3, the Eagles took a 5-4 lead going into the final inning. Irelyn Ryan, Elizabeth Recore and Emma Duquette had singles in the top of the seventh to get the lead for the Spartans.
However, after a single by Keelyn St. Clair to start the bottom half, there were back-to-back doubles by Ava Dauphinais and Ele Fullum that won the game for the Eagles.
Saranac’s Gracie Baxter and Beekmantown’s Lilly Perry were the stars of the early innings.
Baxter struck out seven, walking one, and Perry struck out eight, walking two.
“This was a great pitcher’s duel between two young stars,” Eagles’ head coach Michele Barnes said. “Neither team could get anything rolling offensively until the late innings. It was a great team win where every single player contributed. Both teams played hard all game.”

CHAMPLAIN — The hits came, and Peru was able to string them together to defeat NCCS, 5-2.
The only extra base hit was the Cougars’ Sierra Boulrice’s triple.
Nighthawks Madi Marinio, Amelia Siskavich and Natalia Gushlaw-Mirville had multi-hit games with Marino leading the way with three.
Irelynn Bateman pitched a solid game for Peru with seven strikeouts, giving up only two walks. Her counterpart, Tess Dumas, struck out six and walked five.
“Both teams were able to get base runners almost every inning,” NCCS head coach Carrie McComb said. “Peru had more success stringing a few hits together to score. Bateman had a great day on the mound, keeping our hitters off balance with her off-speed pitch.”

CHAZY 2
CHAZY — Bolton’s Jadynn Egloff struck out only five batters, but she let her defense do the work in a 17-2 victory over Chazy.
“I felt the score was not indicative of how we played,” CCRS head coach Cory Thompson said. “Some key errors allowed Bolton to capitalize in the first and sixth inning. I felt we made some great defensive plays for a stretch and we put the ball in play a lot, but Bolton was on their game tonight defensively.”
Six different Eagles had multi-hit games led by Thea Kennedy’s four. One of her hits was a double.
Chazy’s Stephanie Barriere had four strikeouts as she battled the Bolton lineup.
“I felt Wynter Jarus played well for us at third base, and Ella Thew went 7-for-7 on put-outs at first base,” Thompson said. “Aubrey Bechard was great, once again, behind the plate. Bolton is a well-coached team, and we will take this loss, learn from it and get better.”

WILLSBORO — The Irish Jags scored in every inning, the most coming in a 13-run first, to defeat Willsboro, 27-3.
Four different J/M players had multi-hit games, led by Hannah Sharp and Lucia Williams’ four hits.
Two of Williams hits were extra bases, a double and home run. Lexi Sharp had three hits with a double and triple coming in the first inning.
“For tonight’s game, Johnsburg-Minerva was a tough competitor,” Willsboro’s Emery McQuade said. “They are a very aggressive team on offense and defense with knowing how to play a great ball game. For the Willsboro Wolves, this was a learning game on how to stay tough mentally and keep our heads in the game.
“Truly, with a young program and trying to get the system back afloat, the team did their very best to compete with their opponents. I am nothing more than proud of the team for finishing this game with smiles and laughter because after all, this is just a game that we can go try our hardest and still have fun out in the field.”
