David Benavidez and Zurdo Ramirez squared off one final time earlier today (Fri., May 1, 2026) at the conclusion of the official weigh ins in Las Vegas, Nevada ahead of their Cinco de Mayo title fight tomorrow (May 2, 2026) inside T-Mobile Arena, airing live on DAZN PPV.
Benavidez — who is moving up to fight for the WBA, as well as the inaugural Tollan Tlatequi straps — weighed in at 196.8 pounds, while Ramirez tipped the scales at at even 200 pounds. In the co-main event of the evening, Jaime Munguia clocked in a weight of 167.4 pounds, while WBA Super Middleweight champion, Jose Resendiz came in at 167 even ahead of their title fight.
