Even though no injury is ever a good thing, the brief time away could help Acuna reset after not getting off to the start he wanted this season. Acuna is usually one of Atlantaâs most electric players, but through the early part of 2026, he has not looked quite like himself.
The Braves are simply trying to get back on track after a difficult stretch without Acuna in the lineup. With his return potentially nearing, Atlanta could soon be close to full health again among its position players.
