After making a name for himself as a high school baseball player in California, Brice Turang was committed to play college baseball for LSU. However, he had already gotten the attention of multiple MLB scouts, such as the Milwaukee Brewers.
They would end up drafting him 21st overall during the 2018 MLB Draft. He would spend a few years in the minors before he made his MLB debut on Opening Day of the 2023 season.
He did well in his first year in the big leagues, but it was 2024 when he started to become more of a household name. While holding a .254 batting average, he would go on to win his first Gold Glove Award.

This season, Turang's barrel rate, hard-hit rate and average exit velocity are all well above the Major League median. His .424 on-base percentage is tied with the Baltimore Orioles' Taylor Ward for the best in the Majors."
