Brighton come from two goals down to book FA Cup final spot

Brighton & Hove Albion booked their first-ever FA Cup with a stoppage-time winner after having initially gone two goals down away to Liverpool.

The hosts took the lead in just the 11th minute when Denise O'Sullivan rose highest in the box to head in Ceri Holland's cross from the left.

That lead was then doubled when the ball fell kindly for Beata Olsson to fire an effort into the top corner beyond the reach of Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Liverpool's two-goal lead didn't last long though as the Seagulls fought back instantly as a corner from the right dropped into the box with Manuela Vanegas in the right place to take full advantage.

Fran Kirby had a chance to put Brighton back on level terms early into the second half but the equaliser came not long after that when Kiko Seike's cross from the right was headed in by Madison Haley.

Then in the final seconds of the game, Brighton had a freekick that was whipped into a packed penalty area. Liverpool's attempted clearance only went as far as substitute who rifled in a shot that had no chance of saving.
