Just after news broke that the Denver Broncos have agreed to terms on a deal with rookie tight end Justin Joly, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reported that Denver has also reached an agreement on a four-year rookie contract with safety Miles Scott, a seventh-round pick.
As the 246th overall pick in the draft, Scott (6-0, 203 pounds) is slated to earn about $4.51 million over four years. The 24-year-old safety recorded 64 tackles, four pass breakups, three interceptions and one sack in 13 games with the Illinois Fighting Illini last fall.
Scott is the fourth member of the team's 2026 NFL draft class to agree to terms, joining Joly,  linebacker Red Murdock and tight end Dallen Bentley. The team's three remaining drafted rookies yet to sign are defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim, running back Jonah Coleman and offensive lineman Kage Casey.
