Bronny James Says He Does Not Know LeBron James’ Future Career Plans

LeBron James has not given any updates on whether he plans to retire or enter free agency this summer. And after the Los Angeles Lakers’ season-ending Game 4 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, Bronny James says he also does not know what his father’s next steps will be.

“I have no clue, I’m not gonna lie to you,” James said, per Lakers Nation. “He looks like he can play another however many years. But he’s been in the league longer than he’s been out of the league, so it’s insane. I think he should think about it and whatever he feels happy with, do that.”

“Every athlete after their season is gonna take some time to get off their feet and stuff like that,” James added. “So just really depends on how your body is feeling, how your mind is feeling, and just playing it by heart.”

When reporters asked LeBron James about his plans for the future after the Game 4 loss, he said he needed some time to discuss with his family.

“I don’t know what the future holds for me … I’ll go back and recalibrate with my family and talk with them, spend some time with them, and when the time comes, you guys will know what I decide to do,” LeBron .
