The Cleveland Browns are inviting several players, including wide receiver Aaron Anderson from LSU, to their rookie minicamp this week. This camp will allow players to showcase their skills in real football situations rather than just drills.
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly bringing in some very good competition for their rookie minicamp coming later this week.
On Wednesday's episode of Cleveland Browns' Daily, it was reported that the Browns are not only bringing in good players, but they are bringing in a lot of players to get a minicamp where they will actually be able to play real football and not just go through drills.
A win for the Browns and a win for us fans, as we will be able to see some clips of what these guys are bringing to the table.
One of those players is wide receiver Aaron Anderson from LSU. Anderson was a member of the 2022 recruiting class, in which he was ranked as the number four receiver in that class. That ranking put him one spot ahead of Carolina Panthers' wide receiver Tet McMillan coming out of high school.

Certainly, a lot has changed since he was recruited until now, as McMillan is coming off of what should have been a rookie of the year campaign, and Anderson is an Undrafted Free Agent, but nonetheless, Anderson has some juice to his game.
At LSU, Anderson sandwiched one incredible season between two mediocre ones. His freshman year wasn't much. He appeared in 11 games for the Tigers, catching just 12 balls for 59 yards and zero touchdowns. Then, in his sophomore year, he ascended. He had 61 catches for 884 yards and five touchdowns before finishing his career, only playing nine games, notching 33 catches for just 398 yards.
Aaron Anderson is a wide receiver from LSU, ranked as the fourth-best receiver in his recruiting class, and he is expected to bring strong competition to the Browns' rookie minicamp.
Fans can expect to see real football action as the Browns bring in multiple players for competition, allowing them to showcase their skills beyond just drills.
Aaron Anderson was ranked higher than notable receivers like Tet McMillan, indicating his potential and talent as he joins the Browns for minicamp.

Maybe it is something for Cleveland, but maybe it is nothing. He is a very specific prospect as he stands at just 5'8" and weighs just south of 200 pounds. If he turns into a player who can make plays with the ball in his hand, maybe Cleveland has found itself a solid gadget piece.
Regardless, Cleveland is continuing to invest, both big and small, on offense and specifically at their skill positions to somehow find their way out of the seemingly never-ending stone age of bad offensive football.
