The Cleveland Browns made offensive tackle Spencer Fano the ninth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after a trade down with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Not only did the Browns pocket an extra third and fifth round pick in this year's draft, but they still landed the best offensive lineman in the draft in the process. The Browns have stated that Fano will play left tackle for them, rounding out their offensive line reconstruction this offseason.
One of the best parts about the NFL Draft, however, is the release of the videos every year of teams making the call to players to let them know they are coming off the board. The Browns also released their call with Fano.
Rounding out the offensive line, Fano will slide in at left tackle. This puts Zion Johnson at left guard, presumably Elgton Jenkins at right guard, given Todd Monken's previous comments, and Tytus Howard at right tackle. The only area up for debate is center. Could Elgton Jenkins actually slide to center with Teven Jenkins at right guard? Will Luke Wypler play center? Or will the Browns draft a new young center?
