The New York Jets have been routinely viewed as one of the worst teams in the NFL in recent years, as they've gone a long while without making the playoffs, and routinely are picking near the top of drafts.
This past season was no different, with the Jets' struggles highlighted by a defense that didn't get a single interception, and an offense that lacked depth and upside. It's a terrible landing spot for a quarterback, which isn't good news for Cade Klubnik.
But, ESPN's Jordan Reid gave the Jets a lot greater optimism for their offense surrounding Klubnik if the rookie does get onto the field in 2026.
"Why he fits in New York... There's more than enough for Klubnik to excel in Frank Reich's offense," Reid writes.
Why are the Jets a good landing spot for Klubnik? Well, looking at the roster, it's actually a well-balanced unit with good starters across the entire roster.
What makes a good landing spot for a rookie QB? Having a good supporting cast of weapons and a good offensive line are two of the biggest keys to finding success as a young QB.
Analysts believe that Cade Klubnik could enhance the Jets' offense, which has struggled in recent seasons, particularly if he gets playing time in 2026.

Klubnik is joining the Jets offense, which has a great offensive line thanks to Armand Membou at right tackle and Olu Fashanu at left tackle, with some quality interior linemen in Joe Tippmann and Dylan Parham.
The Jets also have an elite running back in Breece Hall, who is a great receiving threat, so Klubnik has an easy check-down option if routes down the field don't pan out.
But, looking at these actual targets in the passing game, the rookie QB could rely on a tight end duo of Mason Taylor and first-round rookie Kenyon Sadiq, along with wide receivers Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper Jr., and Adonai Mitchell.
With such a standout cast of weapons and offensive linemen, it makes sense why the Jets are actually a good landing spot for Klubnik.
While the name of the team might give some pause, looking at this fit for Klubnik, if he gets into a game, he should be able to find success.
