Hronek has been pushed to the ice by his opponent, but with a stick sort of caught in between, the opponent doesn't let up.

The defenseman is coming off one of the better seasons put together for the Canucks in 2025-26. He finished with eight goals and 41 assists for 49 points while playing all 82 games.
This was likely an exciting chance for the 28-year old to represent his home after what was a rough Vancouver season. But instead, he's hurt now, and in a way that seemed absolutely unnecessary.
