But now the franchise great is looking at an injury that could keep him out for a long time.
MLB.com reported the news Tuesday night into Wednesday that Correa sustained a "significant injury" to his left ankle.
Their writer, Brian McTaggart, reports that it could be an absence of weeks "or maybe even months" with this injury for Correa.
According to McTaggart, Correa hurt his ankle while he was taking swings in the batting cage on Tuesday in Houston. It's not made more clear what actually happened, leaving an element of mystery.

Most injuries happen on the field, and even if it's not always clear what the severity is, onlookers can trace an ailment to a specific moment that they have a visual of. This one will be different, given that Correa did it while only team personnel were around.
