Carlos Ulberg still doesnāt know how bad his injury from Saturdayās title fight is going to be.
The New Zealander pulled off one of the most unexpected knockouts of the year at UFC 327, overcoming what some doctors believe could be an ACL tear midway through the first round. Somehow, he managed to hit Jiri Prochazka with a left hook while standing on just one leg, but if reports are accurate, he could be out for up to a year.
Thankfully for Ulberg, who recently claimed the light-heavyweight title, thereās been no official diagnosis confirming a severe injury just yet. Unlike fellow winner Josh Hokit, who was rushed to hospital after his bout, Ulberg was able to stick around and take part in both the post-fight press conference and photos.

āAny time I would push off the right foot or put any kind of weight on that leg and the pain I had to go through was unbearable.ā
