The Boston Celtics are one of the few teams headlining a possible trade for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, as they look to get the sour taste of a blown 3-1 lead out of their mouths.
With that in mind, the top idea being floated is dealing Jaylen Brown for the Greek Freak. However, the media is divided on that decision.
The latest rumors suggest the Boston Celtics may trade Jaylen Brown to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Celtics are looking to recover from a disappointing playoff performance and believe acquiring Giannis could enhance their chances for success.

There are multiple critics who believe moving Brown is for the best. First Takeâs Stephen A. Smith is one of them, and believes Brown should be moved so he can lead his own team.
"Jaylen Brown clearly loves driving the bus. Let him drive somewhere else,â Smith said.
Brown also noted this was his favorite season of his career, a season that saw him be the sole star for most of the season.
Colin Cowherd and former NBA player Chandler Parsons are a couple of other believers, and thinks Giannis would be an ideal fit in Boston.
"Giannis is different. The next 3-4 years you can really maximize his talent, his athleticism, his length... The other pieces around him in Boston would be an ideal fit,â Parsons said.

However, some of the media are not all on the Trade Jaylen Brown train. They donât think itâs a fair trade, even as a one-for-one deal.
To be fair, they could be correct. The Celtics have made the playoffs every year since 2018 with Brown and Jayson Tatum as their core superstar duo. Itâs hard to believe this yearâs exit means things have to change between them, and not the roster surrounding them.

Either way, the Celtics will probably make the playoffs next season. Theyâll have a fully healthy Tatum, and either Giannis or Brown to pair with him.
If they go with the former, it would be a new era of basketball in Boston. It could make the Celtics better than ever before, but it could also crash and burn.
If they go with the latter, which is probably more likely, that means GM Brad Stevens needs to go all in on getting a couple more star-level players to support the Jays, similar to when he got Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.
