It's been nearly three weeks since the Boston Red Soxfired manager Alex Cora and called up their Triple-A manager, Chad Tracy, to replace him.
The Red Sox have undoubtedly improved since the move, going 8-7 under Tracy compared to 10-17 under Cora.
If Cora's disappointed or bitter about losing his job, at least he's not taking it out on his successor. In fact, he still sounds willing to help the organization based on Tracy's comments to WEEI on Thursday.
"We've spoken numerous times," Tracy said on "The Greg Hill Show." "I won't get into all the details other than to say broadly very supportive of me and there for me and willing to be there for me and offer any advice that I want anytime I want it."
This is Tracy's first time managing in the big leagues. Many of his are in the Major Leagues for the first time, too, so it's good that Tracy has a seasoned veteran in Cora that he can go to for advice if he needs it.
