Marley and Alexis Carter first joined Cheer Extreme Raleigh for the 2019-2020 season. Marley has become known as a star tumbler & flyer on Cheer Extreme SSX. This last season, Marley competed one of the hardest last tumbling passes in the L6 Senior Small division: a round off one and a half step out through to whip double. Marley has also competed on Cheer Extreme SJX in the Junior 6 division. Alexis Carter is a coach of the World-famous Cheer Extreme Code Black team in the L6 International Open Coed Non-Tumbling Division. Alexis started all star cheer in 1991 with Spirit X Press under Don Collins. That is now the competition brand All Star Challenge.

The duo has a strong understanding of what it takes to win as members of two very prestigious & championship-caliber teams. It's more than just the hard work in the gym. It's the strategy calls and the extra reps put in outside of practice.

"Getting to be a world champion coach while having your child watch all of the late night practices and strategy phone calls is also super cool, Alexis Carter said. "I think it gives her a special perspective into what it takes to win."
