He mentioned striker Robert Lewandowski as a decent option. Cole said:
“I’m thinking players like John Stones. Lewandowski, he’s coming to the end of his contract, we need a centre forward.
“He probably fancies the Premier League and living in London, give him a year-long contract to come and play 35 games for us and help out Liam Delap and help out Joao Pedro. They need those types of players.”
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Lewandowski is HIGHLY likely to leave Barcelona after these final months, though no final decision has been made. All signs point toward his departure, and the club has already started preparing for a future without him.
I think he’d take some convincing to join Chelsea though, but maybe there’s a possible opportunity here.
