Cincinnati Bengals updated NFL mock draft before Day 3

The Cincinnati Bengals addressed the defense in the second and third rounds of the NFL draft, picking an edge rusher with Cashius Howell and getting creative at cornerback while picking Tacario Davis.

Now, the Bengals head into Day 3 with a handful of picks across four rounds and project to keep attacking the defense, while addressing a few quiet depth needs on offense, too.

Here’s an updated look at a Bengals seven-round mock draft, starting with Round 4, using the simulator from Pro Football Network.

Round 4 (110): Keionte Scott,  CB, Miami

Scott is a very popular name in Bengals fandom and media circles and for good reason. They need a slot/nickel starter badly when they aren’t putting a safety there. Davis from the third round is a project and not that guy full-time. Scott might just have enough juice to get in the rotation there as a rookie, which would mean they get to keep Dax Hill on the boundary.

Round 6 (189): Cyrus Allen, WR, Cincinnati

Bearcat and Senior Bowl standout? That’s the Bengals. They have a quiet need at third wideout, where Andrei Iosvias has underwhelmed and nobody else has seized the moment. A smaller slot weapon who can create interesting matchups, Allen would be worth developing.

Round 6 (199): Travis Burke, OT, Memphis

Burke is a nearly 6’9” monster of a prospect who needs development. The Bengals might love the traits there. Another shot on a swing-tackle backup to eventually compete with would be ideal.
