Incredibly, the Steelers haven't had a losing season during that stretch. However, they haven't won a playoff game, either.
Pittsburgh's plan for 2026 is apparently to bring back Rodgers at age 42, backed up by Rudolph, Will Howard, and Drew Allar. That would at least give them some continuity under center, but not the good kind.
Last year, the Steelers didn't sign Rodgers until June. This year, they're still waiting for him to make a decision in May.
Quarterback has been a revolving door for Pittsburgh since Roethlisberger retired. That's what happens when you have the most expensive defense in the NFL and treat quarterback like an afterthought.
