Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders doesnât care much at all about the recent controversies surrounding his son, Shilo. The middle son of Coach Prime defended his younger brother, Shedeur, after the Plain Dealerâs Mary Kay Cabot shared her opinion that Deshaun Watson should be the Cleveland Brownsâ starting quarterback over him. Shilo told Cabot to âGo Make a Sandwichâ in an Instagram comment, drawing criticisms to him and his father in response.
Addressing the backlash Shilo has received in the past few days, Deion said, âYou majoring on a minor ⊠Yâall over here trippin about what somebody said on the internet. I ainât got time for that. I got too many things Iâm praying for.â
Shilo Sanders told Mary Kay Cabot to 'Go Make a Sandwich' in response to her opinion on his brother's performance.
Deion Sanders dismissed the criticism, stating that people are overreacting to internet comments and that he has more important things to focus on.

Shilo explained on his Twitch channel that he wasnât aiming to be sexist in his comments to Cabot, instead hitting back at her opinion. Shilo claimed that Cabot was holding the profession back for other women reporters.
âIf youâre gonna be a reporter, be a reporter and report facts. Whenever you have your opinion, and your opinion is always something hateful to Shedeur, then it makes it seem like itâs something weird. Like itâs an agenda that you have going on,â Shilo said.
Cabot touted her self-perceived impact and influence on other women in the industry in an indirect response to Shilo. She never said his name, but joked about her sandwich-making on 92.3 The Fan. All in all, she seemed to have taken the comment in better stride than many of her male peers.
Itâs hard to tell if this beef is over, but itâs certainly sparked a resurgence in interest in the Sanders family, for better or for worse. Coach Prime certainly doesnât see it as part of the latter category, though at the end of the day, he probably just wants the story to go away.
Have to imagine heâs moving Shilo down in the favorite kid rankings for this.
