Chelsea are on the prowl for a new coach after axing Liam Rosenior, who had replaced Enzo Maresca, after just four months, and Cesc Fabregas is among their targets for next season. They turned to caretaker manager Calum McFarlane after losing seven of eight matches. The current Como manager is a natural candidate for the job, given his previous stint in London as a player, La Repubblica informs.

The Blues had poached the gaffer from their sister team, Strasbourg, after parting ways with the Italian tactician. However, he led them to one of their worst stretches in recent history.
